C.S.I. case file No 19

Είμαι πάρα πολύ χαρούμενη σήμερα! Έχω έτοιμες δύο ακόμα συνθέσεις για τη συμμετοχή μου στην πρόκληση του C.S.I  και την υπόθεση Νο 19! Η μια σύνθεση είναι σε ψηφιακή μορφή, την έφτιαξα στη δουλειά χθες το πρωί, γιατί πίστευα πως δε θα προλάβω να κάνω μια κλασική και η άλλη είναι η κλασική χειροποίητη (που τελικά πρόλαβα κι έφτιαξα χθες το απόγευμα στο σπίτι)! Δεν ξέρω αν μπορώ να πάρω μέρος και με τις δυο στην πρόκληση, παρ' όλα αυτά όμως θα σας τις δείξω και τις δυο! Επίσης χαρούμενη είμαι κι επειδή η προηγούμενη μου συμμετοχή με τίτλο  "As you Grow and Bloom", είναι η αιτία που μπήκα "υπό παρακολούθηση" για τους ερευνητές του C.S.I. Δε θα πω ψέματα... πραγματικά χρειαζόμουν μιας μορφής αναγνώριση θα έλεγα! Με όλα όσα πέρασα τον προηγούμενο χρόνο (ναι... ήταν ακριβώς ένας χρόνος από το τροχαίο, προχθές 13/05), η αγαπημένη αυτή ασχολία έμεινε στο ντουλάπι για πολύ καιρό.... και μόλις ένα μήνα πριν που προσπάθησα να ξαναβρώ την ηρεμία μέσα από τη δημιουργία, ήταν στιγμές που φοβήθηκα ότι "δεν το είχα πια"... ότι στέρεψαν οι ιδέες μου... τίποτα δεν με ικανοποιούσε ή τέλος πάντων με ικανοποιούσε δύσκολα! Το ότι έκριναν την ιδέα μου ως "εκτός του κουτιού" , που είναι και η πηγή έμπνευσής μου, είναι το παν για μένα τη δεδομένη στιγμή! 

I am so glad today! I have two more LOs for my participation on C.S.I. challenge case No19. One of them is digital. I made it at work yesterday morning,(thinking that I wouldn't have time for a classic one), and the other is a classic handmade LO that I made finally at home! I don't know if I can participate with both of them, I'll show them both to you anyway! I am also glad for another reason! My previous participation for case file No 18, is the reason I got on "the watch list" of C.S.I detectives! I won't lie... I really needed some kind of recognition.. With all these that happened to me during last year, (yap, it was a year from our car accident on 05/13), it was hard to find my way to creativity again. There were times I thought "I haven't have it anymore" ... that I run out of ideas... nothing was good enough for me! Their comments about my "think out of the box" creativity, that I always thought it would represent me, is everything to me right now!

Στοιχεία που με οδήγησαν στην επίλυση (για την κλασική σύνθεση):

How I came up with a solution (for the 2nd LO):

The Scheme

• Soothing Blue - a dark blue, on the distressing ink of the elements!
• Golden Harmony - a greenish goldish yellow, on the rosette and in spots all over the LO
• Blue Skies - a sky blue background paper
• Gray Tranquility - a pale gray on and inside the booklet
• Calming Khaki - khaki green mostly on the rosette and the booklet.

 The evidence

• Use pleating -- pleat ribbon, paper =  inside the booklet
• Make paper rosettes. = over the photo
• Use circles in your design. = scallop circles 
• Use circular accents.= rosette and  flowers
• Birds = detail on a scallop square.
• Use multiple small patterns.
• Use border punches.= round and square scallop
• Use floral prints.= pattern papers and cut out flowers 

 The testimony

• Journal in a circle. = journal on the flower above the booklet
• Make a little booklet that opens to reveal your journaling.
• Inspiration Words:  calm, flight, read -- Use these as jumping off points for your journaling (not just as a title). = used in the booklet's journal

Αυτή τη σύνθεση την είχα φτιάξει αρκετό καιρό πριν, αλλά κάτι της έλειπε και γι' αυτό δεν σας την είχα δείξει ποτέ. Ουσιαστικά δεν είχα γράψει αρκετά, δυσκολευόμουν να εκφράσω αυτό που έδειχνε η φωτογραφία με το γιο μου να κοιμόμαστε αγκαλιά!  Ήταν λοιπόν η ώρα να την προχωρήσω και σ' αυτό βοηθήθηκα πολύ από τα coordinates για την υπόθεση αυτή! 

This LO it's been made for some time now, but there was something missing, that's why I have never shown it to you! It was so difficult for me to express what the photo had shown. It was about time then to complete it, and I have been inspired from the coordinates for this case file!

Scrap and Grab LO challenge!

Ναι, ναι... είναι η ώρα να γνωρίσετε τη νικήτρια της πρόκλησης για το μήνα Απρίλη, αλλά και να μάθετε για τη νέα μας πρόκληση για το μήνα Μάη! Πριν όμως θα ήθελα να γνωρίζετε μερικά πραγματάκια για τον τρόπο που θα αναδυκνύονται οι νικήτες/τριες! Θα μου ήταν πιο εύκολο να κάνω μια κλήρωση ανάμεσα στο σύνολο των συμμετοχών, όμως αυτό θα ήταν άδικο για κάποιες πραγματικά πάρα πολύ καλές συμμετοχές! Θα μπορούσα ακόμα να ζητήσω ψηφοφορία για τις συμμετοχές.... χμμμμ ειλικρινά το φοβάμαι.... υπόσχομαι να το δοκιμάσω όμως σε κάποια φάση! Έτσι καταλήγω στο να κάνω κάτι εξαιρετικά δύσκολο, αλλά προκλητικό... (άλλωστε θα πρέπει να είναι πρόκληση και για μένα)... να διαλέγω σε συννενόηση πάντα με την ομάδα που μπορεί ωστόσο να δημιουργηθεί, μια τριάδα νικητών. Και θα μου πείτε τώρα.... "και ποια είσαι εσύ?... που θα κρίνεις τις δικές μας δημιουργίες?". Δεν είμαι τίποτα... είμαι η καμμία, που απλά θέλει να παίξει και να σας προκαλέσει - προσκαλέσει στο παιχνίδι της, με μόνο σκοπό της να περάσετε καλά, να βρείτε δημιουργικές διεξόδους, να χαλαρώσετε και γιατί όχι να το ευχαριστηθείτε! Αυτού του είδους η δημιουργική απασχόληση που λέγεται Scrapbooking ή ακόμα και Crafting είναι ένας μαγικός κόσμος για μένα και θέλω τόσο πολύ να σας βάλω σ'αυτόν... Δωράκια θα υπάρχουν σαφώς... ελπίζω όμως να μην είναι ο μοναδικός λόγος συμμετοχής σας! Χωρίς να θέλω να σας ιντριγκάρω... προτιμώ να σας προκαλώ χωρίς να γνωρίζετε το δωράκι της πρόκλησης κάθε φορά... απλά και μόνο για να βρουμε επιτέλους το δρόμο μας προς την ηρεμία μέσω της δημιουργίας. Αν παρ' όλα αυτά είναι κάτι που σας δυσσαρεστεί... θα το αλλάξω, διότι ειλικρινά θέλω να σας αρέσει η διαδρομή!

Για το μήνα Απρίλη λοιπόν νικήτριες είναι: 

Νο 1 η Αλίκη  με μια πραγματικά δροσερή δημιουργία! 

                                                                   

Νο 2 η erinaki που το LO της με εξέπληξε και με ενέπνευσε!

                                                                                                                                        

Νο 3 η Γιώτα με την καταπληκτική φάτσα της κόρης της!

Κορίτσια μου συγχαρητήρια κι εύχομαι να είστε πάντα τόσο δημιουργικές! Θα λάβετε η κάθε μια από ένα κωδικό εκπτωτικού κουπονιού για αγορές από το Enjoy Scrapping, οπότε θα χρειαστώ τα e-mail σας! 

Πάμε τώρα παρακάτω..... η μηνιαία μας πρόκληση απόκτισε όνομα... το προσέξατε? "Scrap and Grab", θα λέγεται από τώρα και στο εξής! To "Grab" σε πολύ γενικά πλαίσια θα είναι η ανάλογη έκπληξη δωράκι για τις νικήτριες! Για το "Scrap" δε νομίζω να έχετε απορίες!....

Ο οδηγός με τον οποίο σας προκαλώ να παίξετε αυτό το μήνα είναι ο ακόλουθος.

Ισχύει μέχρι και το Σάββατο 9 Ιουνίου 2012.

C.S.I. case file Νο 18: "As you Grow and Bloom"

Μια ακόμα φωτογραφική σύνθεση για την πρόκληση του CSI είναι έτοιμη κι αυτή την εβδομάδα! Το αντικείμενο που μας απασχολεί αυτό το μήνα είναι η ανάπτυξη... το μεγάλωμα.... η εξέλιξη! Και τι καλύτερο από μια δημιουργία που να δείχνει τα στάδια ανάπτυξης του μικρού μου γιου! Θα είμαι ειλικρινής σχετικά με αυτή τη δημιουργία! Εξ' αρχής είχα αυτή την ιδέα στο μυαλό μου, αλλά παράλληλα προσπαθούσα να βρω τρόπους και να εντάξω σ'αυτή κι άλλα στοιχεία, όσο πιο πολλά θα μπορούσα, ώστε να καλύψω σε μεγάλο βαθμό την πρόκληση. Τελικά συνειδητοποίησα πως δεν υπήρχε λόγος για τόση σκοτούρα επί του θέματος... διότι στο τέλος θα έφτιαχνα κάτι που δε θα ικανοποιούσε εμένα, αλλά τις ορέξεις και τα βίτσια κάποιων άλλων. Κάποιων που δέχομαι να προκαλούμαι από τις επιλογές τους, αλλά που στο τέλος χάνω το μέτρο των δικών μου επιθυμιών κι ευαισθησίων! Έτσι τελικά προτίμησα τη δική μου δημιουργική καλοπέραση κι αυτή είναι η λύση της υπόθεσης Νο 18.

One more LO for CSI's challenge is ready for this week! The subject of concern this month is the growth....the growing up .... the development! And what better than a creation that shows these development stages of my little son! I will be honest about this creation! From the beginning I had this idea in my mind, but also trying to find ways to include other elements, as much as I could to cover the maximum degree of the challenge. Eventually I realized that there was no reason for so much trouble on this issue ... because in the end I should propably have made something that will not satisfy me but the appetites and vices of others. I agree to be challenged by their options, but in the end I lose the measure of my own desires and tenderness! So eventually I preferred my own creative wellbeing and this is the solution of the case No. 18.

The scheme

• Dark green - on the leaves
• Light olive green - on the leaves
• Light Gray -   as photo background and grass.
• Darker Orange - the flowers on the tree and the disstressing sun.
• Light Orange -  background of the sun and the disstressing on fabric flowers 

 Evidence

• tissue paper - for the twisted tree.
• Webster's Pages Bloomers (or other similar product) - fabric flowers on the right corner.
• Flowers - on the tree
• Leaves - on the tree and on the right corner
• twist something (as inspired by the stem) - the trunk of the tree is from twisted tissue paper.
• bling (as inspired by her jewelry) - white pearls on the flowers on the corner.

 Testimony

• Journal about the growth of something or someone - My journaling on the grass about my son's growth.
• "Grow" your journaling by writing more than you generally do. - Generally I don't write much of a journaling.
• Inspiration Words: growth, extreme, bloom - On the title.

Mother's Day mini album gift!

Η γιορτή της μητέρας είναι μόλις μια βδομάδα μακριά και φέτος είμαι χαρούμενη που θα ευχηθώ στη μανούλα μου όχι μόνο με ένα απλό τηλεφώνημα, (αυτό θα γίνει έτσι κι αλλιώς αφού μας χωρίζει μια κάποια απόσταση..), αλλά και με ένα δωράκι φτιαγμένο από τα χεράκια μου με πολλή πολλή πολλή  αγάπη! Άλλωστε μανούλα είναι μόνο μία, πρόθυμη να χαρίσει την αγάπη και τη στοργή της εξίσου σε όλα της τα παιδια. Λίγη αναγνώριση των κόπων και των προσπαθειών της για την ανατροφή μας, νομίζω της την οφείλουμε!

Mother's Day is just a week away, and this year I am happy that Ι wish to my mom, not only with a simple phone-call (this will happen anyway since we are separated by a certain distance ..), but with a special handmade gift full of my love for her! We all know that  there is only one mother for each one of us, (whether she brings us in life or nurturing us),  willing to give love and affection of the same in all of her children. Some recognition of her labors and efforts to nurture us, I suppose we all owe to her! 

Έτσι έφτιαξα για τη μανούλα μου, ένα μίνι άλμπουμ γεμάτο με φωτογραφίες της, από την παιδική, εφηβική και νεανική της ηλικία. Τότε που ζούσε στα χρόνια της ανεμελιάς ώντας και η ίδια παιδί... τότε που ζούσε τα πρώτα σκυρτήματα της αγάπης με τον μπαμπά μου, κι απολάμβανε τις βόλτες με τις παρέες της, έχοντας πάντα από κοντά τον μεγάλο της αδερφό! (Χρόνια κι εκείνα!!!) 

So I made for my mom, a mini album filled with photos from her childhood, adolescence and young of age. When she was living in the years of carefree being also a child and when she was expirienced  the first  love heartbeats for my dad. When she was enjoyed the company of friends, having always been close to her big brother!  

Επίσης με αυτό το μίνι άλμπουμ θα ήθελα να πάρω μέρος στο διαγωνισμό του Enjoy Scrapping. Κάντε μια βόλτα να δείτε, έχει διαγωνισμό και για φωτογραφική σύνθεση!

Καλημέρα, καλή βδομάδα... το Σαββατοκύριακο που πέρασε ήταν εξίσου δημιουργικό και χαλαρωτικό από κάθε άποψη! Ο καλός καιρός κι ο ανθισμένος μου κήπος βοηθούν πολύ στην καλή μου αυτή και δημιουργική φάση, έτσι λοιπόν μια ακόμα φωτογραφική σύνθεση με τεχνικές Scrapbooking έγινε από τα χεράκια μου! Έγινε με σκοπό την επίλυση της υπόθεσης Νο 17 του C.S.I. κι από την πρώτη στιγμή ήξερα ποιοι θα ήταν οι ύποπτοί μου γι΄ αυτή την υπόθεση! Ο καλός μου κι εγώ!!!! 

Have a good day,   ... this  weekend was just as creative and relaxing in every way! The good weather and my flower garden are to blame for this creative phase I am in, so then another LO with Scrapbooking techniques it's being made! Served to resolve the case No.17 of CSI and, from the first moment I knew who would be my suspects about this case!  My beloved husband and me!!

Ξεκίνησα με τη σκέψη, αυτή τη φορά να χρησιμοποιήσω κομμάτια από τα διαθέσιμα προς εκτύπωση "ευρήματα"  που μας δίνει κάθε φορά το "αρχηγείο του C.S.I." Άνοιξα και τη λίστα με τα "στοιχεία" και τις "καταθέσεις" και βούτηξα στην υπόθεση! 

 I started by thinking, this time to use the available printable "finds" that gives us every time the "headquarters of CSI"... I also opened the list of "evidence" and "testimony" and dived in case!

Όπως κάθε καλός κι αξιόπιστος ερευνητής εγκλημάτων, προσπάθησα να χρησιμοποιήσω όσα "ευρήματα", "στοιχεία" και "καταθέσεις" μπορούσα για να επιλύσω την υπόθεση Νο 17. Υπήρξαν στιγμές που σκέφτηκα πως μάλλον το παράκανα.... αλλά και στιγμές που κάποιο "στοιχείο" επέμενε να με κοιτά, οδηγώντας με πιο κοντά στην διαλεύκανση!

As any good and reliable crimes investigator would do, I tried to use as many "finds", "evidence" and "testimony" as I could to resolve the case No. 17. There were moments when I thought I would rather overdoing it  .... and then there were moments some "evidence" insisted on looking at me, driving me closer to the solution!

Αυτή είναι η δική μου εκδοχή σχετικά με τον ένοχο της υπόθεσης Νο 17.

This is my opinion about the crime of case file No 17.

Κι εδώ είναι η έκθεση της επίλυσης της υπόθεσης.
And here is the report of the settlement on the case.

The Scheme:

Galactic Green  on the background paper and on the leaves.
The Blue Planet   on the background and on printables coordinate papers and elements of CSI.
Seriously Solar   on the background paper and journaling.
Celes-teal  on the background paper, the second layer and here and there in CSI coordinations.
Milky Way  on the background paper, the third layer   ~~~~***~~~   ~~~***~~~  ~~~***~~~ .
I also used a 5% of red that was on my backgound paper and I also used in hearts and stars!


Evidence

• Circles (in papers and astrological map.)
• Book pages (the one stamped and used behind the yellow journaling)
• Stars (of  paper embellishing a photo and our sign of the zodiac)
• Bird embellishment ( stamped both verticaly and mirror on a transparent.. to be a couple)
• Leaves (as patchwork effect to give the idea of the earth element of the sign of the zodiac)
• Map (the astrological one of the coordinations of C.S.I.) 
• Create a patchwork effect (made by the leaves)
• Translucent elements where the background shows through ( the bird couple)
• Space = white space ( I manage to left some of the coordinate labels in white)  

Testimony 

• Write about your astrological sign. (From the title till the end of the yellow layer)
• mysteries of the universe - journal about something puzzling (The rest journaling, and just to let you know... my opinion of the case is based mostly on this testimony) 

Είναι από τα LOs που έχω πραγματικά ευχαριστηθεί δημιουργώντας τα! Αισθανόμουν ότι χαϊδεύω και στολίζω λεπτομέρειες της σχέσης μου με το σύζυγό μου... ότι εμβαθύνω σε σημεία του χαρακτήρα και των δυο μας κατανοόντας στο σύνολό της αυτήν την υπέροχη και φλογερή αγάπη!

It's one LO of those I have had a realy good time creating them.! I was feeling that I was   faithering and embellishing all the details of my relationship with my husband.... that I was so deep in our charachter's points, understanding this wonderful relationship from the very begining.

LO "Sweet sweet thoughts"

Στην τελευταία μας συνάντηση στο Ρέθυμνο είχαμε μαζί και τη μικρή Αδαμαντία, (κόρη της Παρασκευής και δική μου βαφτιστήρα), την οποία έχουμε σε πολλές φωτογραφίες από κείνη τη μέρα... Μερικές λοιπόν απ' αυτές τις φωτογραφίες αποφάσισα να βάλω στο μίνι άλμπουμ "καταρράκτη" που φτιάξαμε τότε! Τις διάλεξα τις έστειλα για εκτύπωση και έκατσα χθες να τις βάλω στο άλμπουμ... Δύο όμως απ' αυτές μου φώναζαν να μην τις βάλω στο άλμπουμ, αλλά να της κάνω φωτογραφική σύνθεση... Μιλάμε για ξελαρύγγιασμα οι φωνές τους ... όχι αστεία!!! Έτσι λοιπόν αφού έβαλα κάποιες στο άλμπουμ ( το οποίο θα σας δείξω σε άλλη ανάρτηση γιατί θέλει λίγο στόλισμα ακόμα.....), είπα να ηρεμήσω τις δύο που με φώναζαν και να τους κάνω το χατήρι δημιουργώντας μια ακόμα σύνθεση!!!

In our last meeting in Rethimno our little Adamantia was with us, (Paraskevi's daughter and mine god-daughter). We have taken a lot of photosnaps that day, and some of them I decided to put them in the "waterfall" mini album we made then. I have never finished the mini (I promise to show it to you in another post)... cause two of those photos were screaming not to be used in the mini, but in an additional LO. I couldn't do anything else but to obey... 

Έτσι βυθίστηκα για ακόμα μια φορά σε μια δημιουργική νιρβάνα, ( η αλήθεια είναι ότι αυτή η μικρή είναι μεγάλη πηγή έμπνευσης για μένα.... ) και ιδού τι βγήκε απ' αυτό το ταξίδι!

So I delved once again into a creative nirvana (the truth is that this little one is a great inspiration for me ....) and here is what came out of this trip!

Αυτά τα υπέροχα τριανταφυλλάκια μας έμαθε η Τατιάνα  να τα φτιάχνουμε από κορδέλα ρικ-ρακ, στην 1η Παγκρήτια Συνάντησή μας στο Ρέθυμνο! Τελικά μόλις χθες ήρθε ο καιρός να τα φτιάξω ξανά για μια δημιουργία μου! 

These wonderful small roses, Tatiana had taught us how to make them, using zig-zag ribbon, on our 1st Cretan Scrapbooking Meeting. And it was only yesterday the time for me to make them again for one of my creations!

Μια ακόμα υπόθεση C.S.I., έπρεπε να επιλύσω το Σαββατοκύριακο που μας πέρασε! Η σκηνή του εγκλήματος, τα αποδεικτικά στοιχεία και οι καταθέσεις έχουν ως εξής:

Για να λύσω την υπόθεση χρησιμοποίησα:

To resolve this case I have used:

for the crime scheme 

pinkish raspberry red (on the 2nd checkered layer and on the feather fibbers )

medium pink (for the background)

pale-pale pink ( on the 2nd checkered layer and on some inking distress)

light gray ( on masking and journaling)

dark gray (on the background of the mask element and on journaling)

I also used a 10% of some green colours.

Για το ενδεχόμενο να μη φαίνεται καθαρά... το σχόλιο της σύνθεσης είναι συνδυασμένο με τον τίτλο και έχει ως εξής:
