My top 100 continues...

19) I went back after the summer season, to continue my studies, in Athens without expecting anything more from my relationship with Stratos mostly because he gave me the impression of a faithful man... but not interesting in taking the next step! That was convenient for me too cause..

20) Actually marriage was never in my priorities... so we said each other "... it was fun... thank you... and goodbye!"

21) I knew he never liked telephone comunication so I did't bother to give him my telephone number!

22) During the first 4 days he called me (he found my telephone from my cousin)...

23) In the next days he was at my place meeting my family (those he didn't know already)... hi hi..

24) Before that he had already met my brother, my uncle, and ... my grandmother... been in Rethymno yet!

25) So as you can understand our relationship continued and we travelled a lot from Athens to Rethymno and back in order to see each other till next summer that I went again for work.

26) This time we stayed together. After a while in our place moved my father in low because of a surgery that cost him a leg. I don't think I have ever met somebody that proud, so kind and sweet at the same time! He always wanted to go back at his place but his situation didn't allow it anymore... He didn't want to be around us... "You are young" he used to say... " I have to go at my home" .... We managed to make him understand but we knew that deep inside him he didn't want to go back home because he was so proud that he didn't want his neighbohoods see him like this.

27) We didn't work together that summer.

28) I also took german lessons because the hotel I was working to... had only German guests...

29) I have to confess that I like that language a lot... I' ve learned it well but not well enough indeed...

30) We planed our wedding in 20/04/1996... a week after Eastern...

31) My father in low died a week before our wedding... but we went all the way through the wedding because our prist advice us so... as my father in low was agreed for that marriage to be done!

32) I gave birth to my daughter in 02/07/1997. It was the most wonderful experience I have ever had!

33) As you can understand my studies went aside at that moment..

34) My life got harder cause we were nurturing our daughter alone.. and as you realise I was the one who had to stay at home and Stratos the one to bring the money home...

35) Suddenly all of my interests had to step aside and that was the hardest thing... cause I was trying to keep doing most of the things I used to do but being there for my kid too... I almost died that summer...

36) .. till I collapsed one morning as I was trying to feed my baby while I was thinking what else I had to do for the day! The next I remember is lying in my bed with my husband crying over me trying to bring me back!

37) From that day on.. he never let me do all things in the house all alone! He said " I do this... this.... and that.... you do this.... this.... and that.... for any extras we'll do it together!

38) He has changed "pambers" for both of our kids... he has stayed awake at nights for both of them too... and so many others that I don't recall right now...

39) I went back at work in 1998 so that we'll manage to finish the building of our home.

40)In 1st August 2001 we moved in our new home and in 14th September I realised I was pregnant for second time...

41) That was both wonderful and sad at the same time (for me)...

42) ... cause after a hard summer season at the hotel doing more that I was supposed to... for somebody called himself 'manager' who hadn't even primary school finished I had decided to go back and finish with my studies... (I had already moved my papers from Athens back to Heraklion)..

43) My decision was to sit back and enjoy my pregnancy... hopping I'll do studies later!

44) My son was born in 23rd May 2002.

45) He was the easiest baby in the world... I think!

46) Very stable on his times for food, sleep, bath... I knew when I could do what!

47) All of my step aside hobbies and interests started to come around again and... I had plenty of time for them too!

48) I even got back to studies in the second half of 2003!!!

49) I manage to pass -I don't remember- I think 15 lessons in one semester while my DEAR STRATOS had to do all the babysitting of our son, all the homework advice for our daughter...

50) At the same time I organised the "riddle treasure hunting for kids" as I helped for the same one for adults... a custom we do here in Rethymno right before Halloween..

51) I took my degree in June 2004

52) It's million...zillion... time I am telling to my husband THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

53) I couldn't do it without him! He was even keeping the lines for me when I had to memorise pages of pages... of Hotel Law or Hotel Management...
